Hi, I'm Kelly.

Software Engineer, former educator, converter of ambiguity into software that ships.

I’ve been working at GitHub for the past 5 years, where I led delivery for an enterprise-critical feature with a team of 6, built query parsing infrastructure that scaled Projects from 1,200 to 50,000 items, and codified testing standards for Pull Requests. Before that I built AI-powered APIs at IBM Watson. And before that I was Bugsnag's first support hire, where I built the entire support function from the ground up and eventually convinced them to let me be an engineer instead.

I got into this industry through education and developer support, so caring about end users isn't something I learned to do; it's the reason I'm here. I’m currently building a few hobby projects: a writing habit app in Next.js and a return-to-running app in React Native. I'm drawn to early-stage teams where engineers own problems end-to-end.

Want to work with me? Don’t be shy—say hello.
